Albion has been in beta for a long time now. I don’t know much about the standard length in beta but in my opinion, Albion is a bit overextending that phase quite long now. Don’t get me wrong, I think it is great that the game let’s people try it out by giving them access even while in beta. The prolonging of this stage also lets people figure out on how to earn Albion Online Currency which is good. I just noticed that this strategy of the prolonged beta phase just attracts more negative comments about Albion Online than good.
Albion Online Currency: Just Bad
So yeah, I have spending the past few days in reading some reviews, opinions, and comments about Albion Online. No surprise to this, majority of the comments about the game are negative. Yeah, they just don’t like the way the game is heading and predictions of Albion going downhill fast is said by many. Unless drastic changes will be applied, Albion Online might be meeting its doom before it actually is released.
I take that people know that Albion is in beta stage up until now because there will be changes to be done. Or do they? Either way, staying in the beta stage for too long means the game cannot be released officially yet. Why is that? Who knows! As players and beta testers, we just know that the game lacks a lot of stuff to be competitive in the MMORPG market. With the current state of Albion Online, no it won’t cut it.
I’m not concluding that the game is bad. It just saddens me that the game is anticipated for and I hate hearing that Albion Online will just disappoint those players. Even more so that the MMORPG market is deteriorating in general, I hope Albion Online will drive the market up again. I am looking forward for this game and hopefully farm a lot of Albion Online Gold / Silver.
